MazeX Privacy Policy

MazeX is a maze adventure app. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and what we do not do with it.

Our Privacy Commitments

• We do not require accounts or collect direct personal details like name, email, or phone number.
• We do not use your data for advertising or cross-app tracking.
• We collect only limited app and gameplay data needed to run and improve the experience.

Data We Collect

• Gameplay activity: things like run start/completion, post scans, elapsed time, distance walked, and in-maze movement/path data.
• Technical/app info: device type, platform, app version, and basic diagnostics.
• Anonymous IDs: a random device/player ID and session/run ID.
• Location data: with your permission, MazeX uses precise device location to confirm that you are at a supported farm and to position you within the maze. We do not send raw latitude or longitude in analytics. We may collect in-maze movement/path data converted into approximate 3-meter grid cells relative to the maze. Because those cells can describe a precise position within the maze, we disclose this as Precise Location on the App Store.

How We Use Data

• Operate the MazeX app and provide game features.
• Measure gameplay performance and engagement.
• Improve game balance, reliability, and overall quality.
• Provide aggregated reporting to farm operators.

Sharing

We use trusted service providers to host and process analytics data. We do not sell personal data and do not share data for advertising or cross-app tracking.

Data Retention

We keep data for as long as reasonably needed to operate and improve MazeX. Aggregated, non-identifiable reporting may be kept longer.

Your Choices

You can stop using the app at any time. To ask a privacy question or request deletion of data associated with your anonymous player ID, email privacy@mazexapp.com. Because we do not collect direct personal identifiers, we may need additional information from your device to locate a specific record, and in some cases we may not be able to identify it.

Children's Privacy

MazeX is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will update the effective date when changes are made.
